Hello, Tom and Steve. I'd like to know if you could help me find Marozzo's spadone section translation. I've been trying to locate it but had no success. Thanks in advance.

Yours sincerely
André

Since Tom and I both read the text in the original Italian, we aren't always aware of what translations are available. However, I believe that William Wilson translated some of it, although I'm not sure. If so, it will probably be here somewhere http://www.marozzo.org/.

Some of it got published here:
http://forums.swordforum.com/printthread.php?threadid=55447

Craig Pitt-Pladdy published it here:
http://mandrittotondo.tripod.com/id4.html

It's offline but you can find some of it here:
http://www.hemac.org/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=24

You may be able to recover Craig's work from mandrittotondo.tripod.com with the wayback machine:
http://www.archive.org/index.php

If you can't find it that way, drop me an email at rcull at ozemail dot com dot au and I'll point you towards my collated research notes for Marozzo.

I can't believe I never saw this post until now.

Craig Pitt-Pladdy's translations can be found here:

http://digilander.libero.it/mandritto/Pink_Baboon_Press.html

I've been using that as my source for Marozzo's spadone. It isn't easy to read, but since I can't read Italian, its a start.
